Qom is considered an Islamic and holy city by Shia Muslim because The shrine of Fatima Masoumeh (pbuh), the sister of Imam Ali bin Musa Reza (pbuh) is located in Qom. It is mentioned in Hadiths that whoever visit this lady in Qom will enter the heaven.This city is the largest center of Shia scholars in the world and is a significant place of pilgrimage, where about twenty million pilgrims visit every year.
